Title: Re: Allen Wiess's engine bay Post by: Sarge on July 23, 2007, 18:24:10 pm Could be a small problem now that I think about it...Allen's motor is not back together yet, so may be a week or two.
Title: Re: Allen Wiess's engine bay Post by: Sarge on July 23, 2007, 19:24:46 pm Yeah, that's it ::) Last time I saw Allen's set-up, there were a number of "improvements"...the most notable was the electronic fuel injectors being suspended over the tops of the velocity stacks (instead of in the intake manifolds).

The freshly completed mill was dynoed by George Jimenez on Saturday. I'm not at liberty to comment on HP, but suffice it to say it's a good thing they don't let fuel injected cars compete in the Super Street class! STAND BACK!! 8) :o ;D

Title: Re: Allen Wiess's engine bay Post by: Allen Wiess on September 11, 2007, 20:48:28 pm Thought I should report back on the performance form Sacramento....... the only full pass off the trailer was 10.69 @123mph. From then on it was shooting for the 10.90 index. I did do a little tuning after the first pass and picked up .04 in the 1/8 so there is more to come. ;D The car weighed a little over 1800#'s with me in it.
