Title: Billy Mitchell Interview Post by: deano on August 15, 2013, 16:29:58 pm We've been working on this idea for years, and it now appears that this will finally come to pass. Hot VWs magazine is going to do an in-depth interview with the famed Motion Mini-car guru, Bill Mitchell formerly of Baldwin, New York! I finally found his old PR guy and got him to search for old VW photos from the seventies. I just received a DVD full of never before seen photos from Mitchell and their racing days. So, as of right now, I am going to meet with him in early November to do this one on one...

But I do not think I will take the Schleys with me on that trip. I don't want Bill to get side-tracked with his stories. Some of the photos I got are so cool. I have one with Billy Mitchell's car on the scales, with Schley's car right behind it... And, Paul Schley is seen looking at the scale readings! Wearing Lee Eliminator pants, of course.
