For those that do not already know me..

 I've put together a little website for myself (excuse the amateur look) just to advise others to what I do.   www.vwdetail.com

   Some folk on the Lounge have already taken advantage of my services and hopefully they might be in a position to point others in my direction if they so wish?

     I do this for my own peace of mind & sanity these days and more than happy to supply simply parts information (free of charge) to anyone that in struggling to find a particular part.

Are you really doing a flash website in 2013?

Don't mean to be harsh, but it's not a great choice..

Sadly I'm no computer wiz...  :'(

 I'd love something more up to date, but as I've said this isn't a full time business for me and therefore what limited funds I do have available are usually spent elsewhere?

  I think people that know me, judge me on what I do for them and I'm happy with that.

    Perhaps if at some point in the future the need is there for something bigger/better, I'll think again.

       That is unless some kind soul is offering to help out a computer dunce like me.  ::)

I know what you mean. If you want a nice looking website for a few $ a month, you can try squarespace.com ;)

Well the main issue is that flash websites can't be seen on most of modern smartphones, tablets, etc and since these devices are getting more and more popular, it's not the best idea that your website is not accessible for people with these devices...

Squarespace is a great place to get a cool looking website online simply and quickly...

I can vouch for Paul's services, having recently made use of his skills and experience with VW parts in locating/identifying a part number for a magneto base clamp- and in the process he saved me a small sum.... ;D

So if any of you have a part number conundrum or microfiche meltdown, you know who to contact.  ;)

Btw Paul, I loved the bit about the boxes of heart tail lights- I remember reading your letter in VolksWorld about that all those years ago....  :o
