Title: Found a odd pulley
Post by: roscoesvw on August 30, 2013, 01:21:59 am
Found this alternator or generator pulley in a box of parts. The parts came with a car that had been parked for at least 20 years. It resembles a Ansen Sprint mag wheel. Its aluminum and when you separate it has 2 pins that locate the 2 halves together.
Does anybody by chance recognize who might have made it? Any leads would be very helpful.
Thank you

I believe that is a Santana. Very cool piece.

Really I would have never guessed that. Any ideas on how that baby would be?

I was going to guess Scat circa early '90s, but in hindsight am not sure they made a complete pulley in that design.  They made a pulley insert piece stylized almost identical to that for sure.
