Are the adjustable standoffs still available? anyone got any pics/details? Sounds like a great compromise, I havn't driven my bug since Bug In thanks to the monsoons we are having in the UK! having the option to close the decklid would be ideal! I find my motor runs way stronger, and cooler with standoffs, but it would be awesome to be able to close them at will, and even just have a smaller gap! I am not sure which was worse, working out how to fit them with a poor set of pictures and swiss instructions or the soothsayers telling me they would not work. ;D :P In the end we found they do fit. When in the "stood off" position I have to apply a finger tip of pressure to make sure the top of thelid does not catch when I open adn close it. Other than that they are fine. PM if you want my details to talk through, apart from the cost, they are a great piece of kit and I would not run without them. |
