Title: Short Manifolds Info/Pics Please..
Post by: plasticblack on September 10, 2013, 17:15:22 pm
Does anyone out there have any pictures and/or information regarding he use of Short IDF Manifolds please?

I'm needing to keep the Height of my Engine as low as possible and will be using a Puma Fan Shroud for this reason.

I think the Engine below is using a Puma Shroud & a Berg Linkage, which is my preferred set up also. (are these short manifolds?)

Anyone recognize this engine or could provide some specs please?  8)

The shortest are the Bergs or the ones for type3

T3 are rediculously short, I can't imagine they flow well at all. They also may interfere with type one cylinder head tin.

Good evening Paul,

This is probably the only useful picture I have, unfortunately I cannot get any physical measurements for you as they are not in this county right now....

:)

looking at those and finding out they are 5" means I'm probably going to be OK with taller items ::)

Thanks for the heads up though. It's clarifies the situation for me.

       Cheers All. 8)
