Good news everyone! The date for SCC 2014 is here.
After last years experiment, we are back at the third weekend of August.
There are promising things coming thru the grapevine about projected work to the track. We will know for sure in March according to the rumors.
There will be a couple of new things going on at the event that we are very excited about.

I understand that the date is 100% confirmed? I need to start planning the ferry etc.
One question: from what I've read I'll have to buy a temporary race licence even though I have a road-legal registered car. Can anyone tell me what is the price of this licence?

just booked my flight,so i will be there as well this year with a friend.
just has to look for a hotel and thinking about renting a car.

Yep ME in my bus, I am leaving monday/tuesday next week......

popping past my place in fredrikstad to pick up my swap-meet parts then up to Olso to meet a couple of other then on the Gardermoen....

 

I could fit a couple of people in if needed and I was about to start a thread seeing if anyone wanted to join me.......

That is THE question Henk. Looks like partly sunny on Friday and early Saturday. Sunday is no good for the time being. BUT, the weather changes really quick these days so there is hope.

Thanks :) Smoked a daiken disc doing it, so out came the engine on saturday evening  ;D

Unfortunately no racing on saturday.

I'll re-gear the gearbox during the winter. New 3rd and 4th gear should do the trick.

It did sound like you only used 3 gears?  using 4 has to help if you get the gearing correct

3,75/2,14/1,56 and 1,04 is no bueno for a NA car.

I'll change 3rd and 4th to probably 1,65ish and 1,31ish :)


So yes, 8500 over the finishing line :)
