Title: Has an Engle fk45 grown lately?
Post by: Chris bugster on November 03, 2013, 13:34:13 pm
I got one of these cams and on the cam card it claims that it has 268 duration as opposed to 263 as is posted on most of the sites that sell it. Anyone else had this? Haven't actually checked the duration on the engine that I have planned for it.

The @.050" duration is 264* as per the catalog.
What are the rest of the specs listed on the card?

It's the FK46 that has 268 degrees (0.050"):

Maybe my eyesight is failing, but I ordered an fk45 and it has fk45 on the box. Anyway I'll check again when I'm in the garage next time. I added up all the angles and it also comes to 268 Tom so it wasn't a case of a slip of someone's pen. Anyway, I thought 263/4 degrees seemed a little on the small side  ;)
