I am Not Sure Yet on the Color I dont Want it to Look like a Resto Cal Look so It will most likely get painted a Porsche or BMW color But It will an OLD SCHOOL CAL LOOK ( Dechromed,Lucas Lights,Filled in exhaust ports on rear apron,T Bars,Empi Deck Lid,American Racing 5 Spokes,84x94 Motor, built trans, IDA's, Joe Hunt Magneto,VDO Gauges,Deano Shifter,Etc.)

Would a dechromed Coral Red car look too pink?  Might be worth a try.  I'm a bit jealous of that car.

Nova looks good, altho a flat hood and the hubcaps would suit the car a little better.  Only my opinion... ;D

HUBCAP'S??? And Take off my Rare American Torq Thrust "D's" are you NUTS?? LMAO  I Like Both Hoods The Cowl Induction Hood is Steel And I Had Both Hoods Painted and Rubbed when I did the Car Stock wheels and Hubcaps Would Cover up My 4 Wheel Disc Brakes ??

Why are you Jealous?  I Dont Think I want it Coral Red Because I dont Want it to look like all the Others out there Plus A Stock Color is To Resto Cal

Yeah a post-sedan Chevy II should be a sleeper!  Those wheels are too shiny!!!   ;)  A skinny whitewall would be perfect.

I'm jealous because '58 is my favorite year for a sunroof car.  Also, resto-cal goes out the window with the dechrome job.

It takes more then just a Dechromed car to make an Old School Cal Look  thats only the begining of the Build

So it's YOUR fault! You started the debauchery. LOL  :D

The 8th Gauge Special Made it looks just like the other Small VDO Gauges but has 5 Idiot Lights in it  (oil, gen, turn sig, high beam, parking brake)
Any chance of you throwing a picture of the special made gauge up here? I'd be curious to see it.

Nice job on your cars, that nova looks sweet, I also have a 67, but mine is a wagon with a 383.  like the 58 dash, I used to like the one piece aluminum dash's with all the guages.

I Decided the Idiot Light Gauge I Made looked to New so I Fabed A New Face For it which included Silk Screening the emblems on the face Including a VDO logo  I think it came out Great.. What do you guys Think?  (the bottom picture was my first try but I thought the emblems looked to late model)   the New face as GEN,Oil,high beam,e brake, and siginals
