Title: Technical Question - narrowing alloys
Post by: rebel on August 03, 2007, 16:13:10 pm
Well,

I know it's a hard-core type of 'customizin' but I wander if it's possible nowadays.
I've seen a narrowed Torq-thrust wheel lately somwhere at a site about classic american muscle car wheels.

anybody knows?

I dunno, but it gave lots of links to burn outs.  Here's one: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3Pp7Mv2JGFE

If you are anywhere near the West Coast, Greens Automotive here in Vancouver has done numerous wheel mods for us. Around $400 US a pair. I know of a set of Fuchs for sale, 6" rears, and 4.5" (narrowed) fronts, polished and painted charcoal. I'll find a price next week.
