The metal is all good luckily, its just the paint that sucked!
All of the panels are original to the car and there has only needed to be a few very small welded repairs, mainly small cracks in the wing edges rather than rust repairs.

I'm trying to get some of the photos that the paint shop took when it was bare metal.

car is now painted and home., started to re do the under bonnet wiring, from this

To this. Its not finished yet but better than the modern fuse boxes and relay boxes on show.

I'm going to re loom it and once finished off I'll start on the replacement brake reservoirs and bracketry.

Finished off wiring behind the dash, the wiper motor has now been connected and just the Tach to re fit. Once thats in I can re fit the old Blaupunct.

Sam my eldest helped out at the weekend and we got the windows in, felt good getting that done with his help.

Now that the screen is in I can re fit the tach, It was reading half revs as it had been left setup for an 8 cylinder motor!

I also tracked down a nasty wheel wobble down to the fact the front rims dont fit the hubs and were simply tightened up where they touched! really not impressed with that one!

Car looks good in the sun, love the colour :)
