This is a beautiful original copper hurst shifter. Work's perfect. The nylon plates are original and still retains the original rivets. The patina is awsome the copper is bright and clean. Has the original shift knob (made in chicago) I put a new plastic and rubber boot. This one is ready to go and would be a great addition to your vw. The chrome is nice with no peeling etc... the top nylon plate is cracked but there is an aluminum plate to re-inforce it so there are no more issues. The cage is original to the shifter but the bottom plate is aftermarket. Has a brand new shift knob. You just need the boots (plastic/rubber) .
