Title: Trouble for Shakey? Post by: JezWest on April 05, 2014, 17:54:43 pm Don't know if you know already, but there is a big new development being proposed for Long Marston, aka Shakespeare County Raceway / Shakey and I can't see a drag strip on the future plans, which is bad news!

Post by: Rocket Ron on April 29, 2014, 22:26:26 pm Trouble is they will get two refused planning permission from the local planned and then go to appeal, this then goes to the Secretary of State to decide.
With the governments open door planning policy it's only going to be a matter of time before some if not all of the site is designated for housing and once that happens who's gonna want a noisy drag strip in the back garden :-\ Even if it doesn't get it this time round it will come, let's enjoy it while we can Bring on drag day ;D |
