Title: Work on my 66 long needed
Post by: Donny B. on August 15, 2014, 20:11:05 pm
Well I finally got started on the stuff that has been waiting for a long time.  Last week I replaced the grub screw in my upper AVIS adjuster.  I had noticed that it had split where the allen socket had been broached that was a few years back.  I bought one from the Bergs and had it in my stash since forever.  Today I decided that I would work on my torn ball joint boot.  Years ago I bought some boots just for this purpose.  My supply has gotten smaller having used a few before and donating some to another forum member.  Having gotten that done I decided to finally install the new shocks I bought over a year ago.  The picture says it all...

Donny, I hope your garage has A/C, I was working one my bug today and it's hot in the garage right now when it's 100 and humid outside!  ;)

Been waiting for it to cool down a little so I can get back to it.  Next on the agenda is to re-index the spring plates.  We all know how much fun that can be...
