Title: Darrell Vittone @ Bonneville
Post by: Ole on September 08, 2014, 19:46:17 pm
I heard Darrell has been at the salt with Russell's Inch Pincher.

I wonder what happened last weekend. Any results? Pictures? I'm not on F-book...

Ole

I must be behind, I thought they had to run 28mm stock carb.  What class of 36ers are 48's ok in?

There are many different classes, stock, blown, unlimited, type 2, etc. I'm not sure which class he was in.

1798cc. 85mm X 81.1mm.
The heads are Denzel. The case is a 1949 VW. The oil pump cover is Denzel (has fitting for full flow oil filter). The carb adapters are Scat. The crank is a stroked Porsche 912. The cylinders are aluminum with nickasil plating. Also the cam is a WebCam with Porsche lifters. The con rods are Carrillo with CP pistons

I kind of want to build one of these motors.  What's the spacing of the bore on a 36hp motor? Compared to a 1600.
