1969 type 1, where should I buy it from??

I got my last set from West Coast Metric and the quality was good, but since that was a long time ago, I would like to know too please.

You'll think I'm nuts or naive but Bugpack makes about the best fixed-window rubber out there.

When one of my former coworkers went to work for BP in the '90s he insisted on developing a profile that fit and a material that would last (seal returns were common at the shop where we worked). He consulted with an aviation supplier that extrudes the seals from really good-quality material. My wife's car had the same windshield seal from '04 to '11 and the rear-window seal from '04 to now and both are perfect despite exposure to lots of rubber-killing ozone in California.

C I P sells some made in germany with molded corner's , Used them on both my cars and really happy with there product

I need a new seal for my rear window.  Does anybody have any experience of the vewib brand?

Just bought a complete set of 'delux' vewib seals for the '58.  Currently with me in England and will be soon packing them in my suitcase to return to New Zealand.  They look good with the corners.  The joins are reasonably obvious (one per rubber).  It'll be a few weeks before they get fitted though.

proper standard model profile, and not to puffy looking, like most cal look rubber kits.

I bought just about every set on the market for my '67. The best, hands down, were the OEM Mexican seals made by VW of Mexico. They had the best fit, and the seams were without a doubt, the cleanest of the lot. I got my from Mexico City....

thanks guys, now i have to see if i can lay my hands on the OEM ones.

Yes, late model Mexican Bugs have the same window openings as a '67.

I've got parts from Antonio all the way out here before, the OEM stuff is good.

I bought my German rubber from CSP for the rolling blackout. I think it looks excellent!!

I got told differently a few days ago about the csp rubbers.

That would be me.... I bought the Cal-Look window rubber from CSP, and they do look nice now they're in, but my specialist classic car window fitting dude had a nightmare with the front & rear screens (side windows were ok)
He had to slice lots off the inside to get the windows anywhere near being able to fit....,
In defence of CSP he did say that he has to do this A LOT with various brands etc...
I've always in the past fitted my own windows, including twice before on this car and never had to do it before..... It's not the the end of the world... But thought it was worth mentioning.
