He wants "Coil-Over" shocks so I figured these would work better than torsion bars :-\ Anyone had any REAL street driving experience with these ??? Title: Re: Silicon Bronze Spring Plate Retainer Post by: Fastbrit on December 07, 2014, 14:37:27 pm I had them on Bluey – drove 650-mile round trip to EBI. Then drove well over 1000 miles in SoCal. No problems with noise – in fact, probably quieter than squeaky urethane bushes.
The only long-term problem I foresee with regular street use is that the bronze bushings may not cope too well with rain/grit. I hate urethane, a pain to fit and I've never been impressed with how it lasted Title: Re: Silicon Bronze Spring Plate Retainer Post by: Lee.C on December 07, 2014, 18:58:31 pm Yeah thats what I am thinking......
