Title: Re: 1" Raised gearbox kit Post by: Dead Dog on March 03, 2015, 09:22:41 am You won't need to modify the body, I put mine up 1 1/2" and just the middle of the back of the parcel floor needed modifying just a very little, so 1" will be OK.

Title: Re: 1" Raised gearbox kit Post by: jamiep_jamiep on March 10, 2015, 10:41:38 am Nick, it may be worth bearing in mind the mods you may have to make getting an exhaust to clear valance wings etc. Mine is a bit more at 2" raised and it hits everything (Speedshop 1 3/4 and turbo muffler, about to be cut into many parts and made fit!), but I'm pretty sure it would have fouled the valance quite a bit even at 1" raised.

Thanks for the info. Getting a custom exhaust made so that won't bother me. Nose cone is the only worry I have, I have been told another type can be fitted?
