A reminder of the booking info from a previous post:

Friday Night Entry and Ticket Discounts require you to book below.

We have just had ticket booking information confirmed for the Cal Look Drag Day,and we have managed to secure a great deal for a full weekends racing for folks on the best track in Europe. To take advantage of the deal racers will need to book their tickets via the online ticketshop www.eticketing.co.uk/santapodraceway
Once on the site, there are several ticket options.
We have negotiated a 20% discount on the two ticket options below
 · RWYB Voucher and Wknd Admission RRP £45 Discount price £36
 · Peak Performance Voucher RRP £50 Discount price £40
When you click ‘buy tickets’ they will need to select a quantity and then enter discount code DRAGCAL in the prompt box (booking fees and postage fees will still apply)
If you require just RWYB or Peak Perf spectator tickets, the discount will not apply.
We have also managed to arrange limited Friday night entry for racers - again if you wish to take advantage of this, you will need to order your tickets in advance as above, and contact us to confirm your entry requirements. Get booking, see you there!

Yes 11.111 for Pete Shattock, awesome to watch and see and he was off the pedal early, mph was well down, video later 8)

12.8 for Trevor in the gold/white Hot wheels style split screen van and Richie ran 8.36@159 with couple of big pedals to keep it straightish  ;) and shut it off early, we were happy with that on a rwyb track 8)
Lots of nice VWs here and no oil downs from any of them :)

Jo

Richie just ran 1.19 60ft, best ever :o 8) but having difficulty getting it to stick all track at moment.

We had a fun pass 1st thing against Jon Rathbone, no good times but was cool to revisit 12 years ago and that picture ;D

Sounds like you had a good weekend. Sorry I couldn't make it and had to keep myself occupied with MotorManiaTV :-\
The "new" car just keeps getting better every year. 1.19 60ft  :o  So now it's on to get the power on the track and keep the car going straight.

Well done to Pete with his little screamer too. I'm very impressed with your determination.

Frank

Was a good day, Pete's 1776 sounded amazing, good to see Richie and catch up with old friends.
Came home and fitted the engine back into my bug. What's the date for 2016, that has to be the drop dead date for sorting out the bug!

No, did start putting miles on it Friday and got the mapping pretty close but decided to not take a not 100% ready car and just focus on the cabrio instead, will run it next month when I got some time

cheers Richie
