Title: JPM Raptor cams Post by: 69Stu on July 05, 2015, 10:31:41 am Hi,
Can any one tell me if the quoted duration numbers for the Raptor cams are measured at 0.050" like other cams, and if the lift numbers are with 1.4 or 1.5:1 ratio rockers. Just trying to determine which one would be suitable for setup. Thanks. Stuart. Title: Re: JPM Raptor cams Post by: Erlend / bug66 on July 05, 2015, 12:06:14 pm At 0,05" yes.
The lift in mm is on the cam Title: Re: JPM Raptor cams Post by: neil68 on July 05, 2015, 19:38:42 pm Can any one tell me if the quoted duration numbers for the Raptor cams are measured at 0.050" like other cams, and if the lift numbers are with 1.4 or 1.5:1 ratio rockers. It depends on the source of the quote. On the CSP website, the advertised duration numbers range from 288 to 332 degrees, so that doesn't appear to be at 0.050" (1.27 mm). On the JPM website they vary from 251 to 293 degrees (which appears to be at 0.050"). My Raptor cam card only shows the duration at 0.050" (274) and cam lift 10.8 mm. I have e-mailed Johannes, but haven't had a reply yet. Just trying to work out is one of the standard (CSP listed) cams would be suitable. |
