Title: 1968 Bug - UK
Post by: spoolin70 on September 26, 2015, 21:21:47 pm
Evening all

Advertising on behalf of my good buddy Tony.

1968 beetle - located about 15mins from Brands Hatch - South East England.

1641cc engine with EMPI twin carbs. Alternator conversion. New fuel tank.
Interior is mostly standard apart from a mountney steering wheel and EMPI gear shifter.

Both floor pan halves have been replaced, floor is now solid.
All copper brake pipes are new along with master cylinder, front calipers and pads and rear cylinders.
Beam has sway-away adjusters fitted and is lowered slightly, rear is standard height.

Bodywork could do with some attention and paint needs a polish.

New MOT - 15th Sept.

£2800 ono.

Any questions, call or text Tony on 07525 456 870 or email Tonypotter880@gmail.com

Tony does work alternating shifts so if you call and don't get a reply for a while, he may be asleep
or busy at work (allegedly  :D)

Suggest you alter the title - it's not a 1967 Bug, it's a '68. It may have been built in the latter part of '67, but that makes it a 1968 model. A 1967 Bug is very different and more desirable, as I'm sure you know. Wouldn't want to get people too excited!  ;)

Morning Keith - thanks for the heads up.

Early mornings and bleary eyes are not a good combo  ;)

Tony sent the pictures through to me at 3am !! I did question if was actually a '67 when he sent the
description a day earlier and he assured me that's what it was registered as so I (stupidly) went along with it.

Should all be correct now
Thanks
