They are made to order and made of aluminum. He welds a flange to the alt. stand and there is an o-ring seal. They are beautiful.

I have had to have mine tig welded to it to stop the leak. He is the best tig welder I have ever met and he is an old circle track racer both on bikes and in sprint cars. Genuine Old School. He currently has about three VW Bugs. ( On my old motor ) I did have a problem oil leaking at first however, I found out I was not using the original oil cap .( aftermarket ) As soon as I found a correct cap, I had no problems at all... I believe that Sil charges about $250 for his breather box, but it is made to order and has vents of the size and location you choose. He also modifies a Alternator stand to accept the breather. It uses an o-ring seal between the breather and stand for no leaks. It has two baffles inside and works great! The one on my car is production number one. I also had prototype number one on my 1776 that I sold some years ago. Sil is a good friend and does great work. Again he can be reached at 602-265-0401.
