Ok so stock VW style, you can use genuine VW WBX and put the bigger end at the head or the newer CB stainless racing push rod tubes if you want a on piece design, after that its more personal choice with the 2 piece tubes

Sorry to be a pain!!
can you recommend which clutch disc (I have a Kennedy stage 2 plate)?
Which release bearing?

Basically the setup I have works really well for the street and used to run strip a little (I want to run strip next year). The equipment I have does not have any makers stamp on, so not sure what has been installed.
I'm not new to this and know my way around an engine, but I am a bit new to the tried and tested equipment that is around today, a lot more of it!! (used to have quick vw's in the 90's (ported and polished, etc, not 'bolt on') and also have a charged 30HP.
I want to install what works well and lasts in the right way.

Thanks for any input

No problem for me to help :) that's what forums are for, sharing information 8)  I would use a super daikin disc, don't get the cheaper normal daikin

Just about to do my 1st performance 25hp engine so maybe asking you questions next ;D

cheers Richie

Thanks

So do you think a standard release bearing (I have a close ratio IRS box, modified for an oval chassis)

Vintage speed performance, check out "souring the Volkswagen", first published in '59. Very interesting read.

Just fitted a set of csp push rod tubes. Then went in very easily with only a small amount of pressure on the Spring. They are seated, but are they meant to go in so easily??!!
