hi guys--great website! lots of good info and inspiration. this is my project, a '66 sunroof. motor is a 2110 with ida's with a berg 5. original brms but no money for paint! car should be ready for next summer...cheers

I have to agree dude - it just looks "right"

I am guessing there is NO narrowed beam under those fenders ??? :)

that was the first i noticed as well.

but look at those rear tyres! those arches are filled to the max...
are those 215s?

pretty hard ride though  8)

I totally agree! Should be a nice car in that color. Kind of like Arnie Mohlmann old car.

thanks for the kind words!

yes, I narrowed the front axle slightly (two inches overall) only to make it work with the jatech drop spindles, they increased my track too much- so I had to do it...
tires are 145 michelin and M&H 6" slicks...

very nice car! i like the attitude allready. should come out good in the same colour. but i would also weld up the holes for that distinctive callook look  8)

Its still alive! but 66 sunroof is no longer a sunroof. A hard top roof was grafted in (under drip rails) paint is coming soon

Shame the sunroof has gone like beetletom said but graet looking bug what colour you planning for?
