Post by: kever65 on May 21, 2016, 20:43:48 pm
Hello,

is it OK to bore a as 41 case to 94without welding behind the NR 3 cylinder, this is for a mild motor for the convertible, stock heads, 110 cam, 40 idf. What is your experience?

thanks

If the case is only bored enough for the cylinder to seat into the case properly then I believe you will be fine. I have had cases that were clearanced for 82 stroke and 94 bore that were not welded up, never had a problem cracking back there. Mike McCarthy
