My friend and I have tested it at the Autobahn… ;D 140mph with 3.0 Needle Valves and enlarged float bowls.

The float bowl mod is merely opening the well that looks like another accelerator pump well to gain a few more cc's of fuel storage. I have used Holley fuel pressure regulators with no problems , in fact I have one on my turbo car now . Make sure your fuel tank vent system is working properly also. Title: Re: electric fuel pump advice Post by: kever65 on May 26, 2016, 19:11:53 pm Make sure your fuel tank vent system is working properly, had same issue before.
Title: Re: electric fuel pump advice Post by: andy54 on May 29, 2016, 13:55:16 pm thanks guys for the info.the old reg is now just a flash t pice as the cb pump i think has a built in reg.my fuel tank in the car is a stock 54oval tank with the 100mm cap so thats the only vent is there.
so you would say leave the pump at just get the float bowels made bigger??? cheers andy |
