Title: fiting problem with china breather tower Post by: bzh67 on July 15, 2016, 13:27:09 pm hello i'm building a 2.3 engine , and test to fit my 356 look a like breather tower on my old engine , but as you see in this pic the tower is not vertical

I used a rubber O-ring and some RTV silicone sealant to prevent oil drips. What type of seal does your kit use?

Look across the top of the shroud. Of course it could be the camera angle but the ex studs also look off. I also took a grinder to my base, in order to get it flatter and for the RTV silicone to bite and seal better.
