Title: Help! Can anybody identify the make of these con rods? Post by: adz1911 on August 02, 2016, 12:29:53 pm So finally, after ten years of drag racing with this motor, it's being treated to a rebuild.
This is the first time the case has been split, whilst I have owned it, and the internal components aren't known. The engine is a 2.7 litre Type 4, allegedly built in the USA by F.A.T. Performance. Can anyone identify what make of con rods these are? He'll be able to tell you if it was a FAT-built motor or not.
The left rod in your photos has been very hot at some point (probably spun a bearing in its past) judging from the 'blueing' of the metal. Title: Re: Help! Can anybody identify the make of these con rods? Post by: T11964 on August 03, 2016, 06:33:23 am FAT used Cunningham rods , but write them.
