Title: Horsepower vs. Torque, what are they? What is the best relation between them? Post by: Martin S. on September 13, 2016, 18:14:34 pm When I showed the results of the rolling road dyno when I first had my car on the road with its new engine to the builder Steve, he said 'my engines always make more torque than horsepower'. I didn't get around to asking him why that is and why he seemed to think that was a good thing. For anyone who has had their car tested on a dyno, how did your hp and tq relate to each other? What do you think is good and what steps do you go to when you want to achieve a certain combo? Anyone know the theory?
