Title: original hurst shifter works perfect - SOLD Post by: restojohnny on October 29, 2016, 20:35:38 pm This is a complete original hurst shifter. The chrome is nice except for one tiny spot where the chrome was chipped off as pictured. Comes with original shift knob with the "made in Chicago" stamped on the bottom. The cage has the original patent# on it. Has the original plastic boot and I have a brand new rubber boot for it aswell but not pictured. The top nylon plate was cracked I installed a metal plate as I do on all of them that are cracked and you'll have NO issues. It works perfect. This shifter has NOT been taken apart other than me removing the shift knob to slip the new metal plate over to install over the nylon shift plate and replacing the original rivets with screws and bolts.
