I have a vw crank that has chevy rod journals. I want to measure journals later today, what is standard chevy journal size and what sizes are oversize bearings available? Maybe Buick rather than regular small block Chevy? It's been 13 years since I built my Chevy journal motor!

I think he means the actual rod journal size on the crank for measuring tolerances not the bearing size as that's 2" std. I kind of need to know too as I've just had rod bearing failure so hoping my calculations are right!
