to prevent them from rubbing on the pushrod tube. So if you want to run bolt on valve covers you have to weld up the oem mounting hole on the valve cover and re drill it so the valve cover seals against the head. they were a real nice head for porting Title: Re: Fred Simpson's SHO heads Post by: Ron Greiner on June 01, 2017, 23:47:16 pm I believe the heads were made by JC Performance, my Neighbor Brad used to work there.
