Title: Calling all valve spring gurus Post by: Erlend / bug66 on September 21, 2017, 08:05:56 am I have a 6 year old set of what was described as "LS1" upgrade valve springs on a set of 044 Wedgeports that are TOAST...! 220psi over the nose is not nearly enough!
Does anyone know what the original use of the springs are? 1,43" OD valves (I of course forgot to check ID), 1,82(ish)" installed height, 0,200" longer valves. Do I get right springs for my application, or hillbilly-style it with 0,200" shims and CB650 springs? I kind of want some right springs over shimming the springs 0,200"... I'm having trouble finding right inner and outer diameter plus enough pressure ;D I've sent CB an email as the springs most likely originated from them. |
