For sale 2800cc street engine, this engine just completed Hot rod drag week and ran a average of 10 second ET over 5 days on treaded DOT tyres, using nitrous and completed the 1200miles street drive.
As the owner is now upgrading to a turbo set up this is for sale, it is offered turnkey complete with the EFI used[ECU, loom, all sensors etc, everything needed to make it run]

When built all parts were new

Spec
TF1 dropped cam case, type 1 mains with conversion BMW bearings to accept type 4 bearing flange crank, thrust and all case work by Geers engineering, upgraded with ARP through bolts
Bugpack flange crank, type 4 mains and chevy rod journals, all standard size with matching Bugpack flange flywheel, ARP flywheel bolts, kennedy clutch
5.5 H beam rods with 3/8 ARP2000 bolts
Geers engineering flat tappet cam with CE dropped cam gears
Manton pushrods/ Fast fab tubes
CP pistons with torque honed and sized AA cylinders
CB performance Comp eliminator heads, modified to 4inch bore and autocraft/WBX stud pattern, 50/38 valves with Ti retainers & locks, PSI springs, ported by Chong woo and machined and set up by Geers engineering
3.5 Berg sump
Raceware head studs
Pauter 1.5/1 rockers with Geers Eng end support modification.
IDA pattern 50mm Throttle bodies with push pull linkage and heavily modified and ported CB IDA pattern manifolds
Custom stainless stepped header by A1 muffler with race & street mufflers
Compression is set at 10/1 to allow it to run on regular pump fuel
Engine is turnkey with all tinware, alternator etc and just plug and play, there are maps for normal 91octane USA pump fuel and E85 pump fuel
It has Megasquirt EFI, with sequential Injection & ignition set up, 4x LS coil on plug set up with custom loom and data recording

This engine in his 69 beetle has gone as quick as 10.37@131.43 with 100hp nitrous on slicks and went best of 10.56 on drag week on same treaded tyres used on road
It made 233hp at wheels on E85 N/A and 319 hp at wheels with 100hp of nitrous on E85

asking $12,000 turnkey for it N/A, engine is currently in Socal and we can help with shipping to Europe if needed

Forgot to mention case & heads are 6 studded, and also valve sizes are 50/40 not 50/38.
