Title: Best VW show to visit for a foreigner?
Post by: pupjoint on October 11, 2007, 14:38:16 pm
planning a trip to the States hopefully somewhere next year, depending on job schedule and commitments.

Any show in particular that is worth not to miss?

I would prefer LA area as if possible as i do plan to visit Bergs, CB etc.

would like shows that have lots of swapmeets/2nd hand parts, race.

Thanks

No the Classic is only once a year. The people who organize it also organize the Bugoramas which are I think twice a year. The big one is the Classic and is the biggest VW show in the US. There are other activities on the Thursday, Friday & Sat before the Classic as well. (The DKP hosts their cruse night on the Thursday before the show.)

yep Classic is cool because you get to see a lot of it spread over a few days ...
but there is many good shows in US (Kelly Park,MidAmerica Funfest, Arizona BugORama I think)
and the list goes on
but the Classic is the best one to start with

have fun
