A number of years ago a friend bought the Small Wonder car (the one that now resides in France). We were trying to trace the history of the car and who built it. I was on the phone with Lyle and mentioned it. He said he had built it ! I described it some more and said it was painted with "Apricot Metalflake" (the car was give a cheap "Datsun" paint respray by my friend before selling it :-( ). Anyway, Lyle said they built two of them and the chop top was the silver one ! After further examnination, my Friend's Small Wonder was not built by Lyle, but he did build a Small Wonder and Small Wonder Too (Silver Chop top) ! I had never seen pictures of either car until now, but I'm pretty sure that's it ! :o P.S. The headlight covers on the car in France are silver metalflake Gel-coat under the black spraypaint !
