Title: Disaster! Broken Alum case at oil pressure sensor. Help please!? Post by: Richierich56 on March 04, 2018, 01:01:02 am Ive had a disaster with my new CB Aluminium case. Took plugs, oil pressure switch etc out to crank for oil pressure. On putting oil pressure switch back in and whilst tightening it, this happened:

Help please!? Post by: neil68 on March 04, 2018, 01:48:06 am I’ve used JB Weld on a similar broken gearbox fitting and it’s held for over 5 years with no leaks.

Title: Re: Disaster! Broken Alum case at oil pressure sensor. Help please!? Post by: Sam K on March 26, 2018, 20:38:22 pm That happened to me a couple years ago on a aluminum case and the sender wasn't that tight. I had a friend weld it up and I drilled and tapped it and put in a time sert.
