Hi all.

I'm thinking about changing my ignition and fuel set up on my turbo engine.
1 to continue raising the power using the same cc and
2.. to get up me up to date with tuning technology.
So been on the net ,there is so much choice I don't no what to pick.
I need it to be a full kit really with a crank trigger.
Gunna do the ignition 1st and then fuel injection later.
What is a good sytem to use. Easy fit and tune etc.
The dub shop in the states have good equipment ,but was hoping to just make a phone call to a uk based supplier and go from there.

Yeah I've had a look on there. They have a 24 to 1 trigger wheel kit. I'm not sure if it's a popular teeth combo. Not sure what ecu will go with that. Thought 36 to 1 was the one to go for.

i drilled my flywheel for a 36-1 trigger wheel, just drilled dimples about 5mm deep if i recall (been a while)

the down side is one hole will need to be double wide, something the guy balancing my rotating assy said put it pretty far out!

Ok . So I've been studying management systems and Mega squirt seams like the 1 for me. Has anyone used the services of mega squirt UK down in Colchester Essex, I'd prefer to be able to get on the phone for a tech chat if it goes pear shape.
I'm thinking of getting a kit from mega squirt UK and a trigger wheel kit from the dub shop.

i've not used megasquirt UK but i do use megasquirt 1 v2.2 at the minute which runs my 2110 fine, although i'm slowly building up a MS3 or 2 v3 (not decided yet)

Tuner studio is easy to use and has table generators and auto tune on the paid version of the software.

there is a very knowledgeable megasquirt forum.

Just remember to read everything that refers to MS EXTRA and nothing that doesn't as it will more then likely be wrong for you.

But yes having someone on the phone in the UK is very helpful but in the same situation someone like Mario at the dub shop would be very helpful via email..... or someone on a forum ect ect....

As an alternative to an 'attached' trigger wheel, why not have the pulley machined ?

John Mayer machined the engine side lip of my Berg pulley for 36-1. Ok it's not as hidden/stealthy but makes sensor adjustment easier plus it's got to be more solid than a wheel attached by a couple of welds or screws.
