Title: Driving with slicks on the street Post by: SOB/RFH on March 09, 2006, 20:27:52 pm I used to have a set of 6/26/15 slicks on my car for a while and it was a pain in the *ss to drive when it rained.........I liked the way the rear end came out when the ZF LSD and the slicks lost traction in the pouring rain. Showing both sides of the car to those behind during the takeoff. So what is the maximum recomended speed when rain and slicks combines?

My '59 on the other hand has so nice paintjob that I don't take it out in the rain. :D (http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/249030.jpg) Title: Re: Driving with slicks on the street Post by: Tony China on March 10, 2006, 08:52:21 am I used to have a set of 6/26/15 slicks on my car for a while and it was a pain in the *ss to drive when it rained.........I liked the way the rear end came out when the ZF LSD and the slicks lost traction in the pouring rain.
