I’ve always wanted a MANX style Buggy so when I sold my Unlimited Street car I knew I had to get going on something else. I made a deal on a body and chassis and picked it up about a month later. After looking at the chassis I decided to scrap it and start over. Had a new chassis built with fiberglass pan by Berrien.
The goal is probably way over my head but at least I have something to shoot for. 9’s in a legit street driven short wheelbase car on DOT’s with no bars. So here’s what the recipe is so far. Berrien Chassis IRS Linkpin 002 Bus Box Kennedy custom clutch MSE vertigate 1”trans raise 930 VV’s axles and inputs Swayaway 28 mm bars Swayaway adjustable plates Jaycee retainers Lummus/Jaycee 4 wheel discs Custom staging brake Bickel pedal assembly with wilwood mc Menscer shocks front and rear MT ET Street 235 60 15 DOT’s Wheels undetermined Rebel Wire harness Strange steering components Autometer gauges Racepak dash 80 x 94 mag case DPR crank Pauter 5.5 Chevy rods Custom pistons Paradise cam Set of 044’s with PAC springs, to retainers, etc. Pauter 1.5’s Custom intake Precision billet wheel ball bearing deal 60 mm billet TB Aeromotive A1000 pump with reg and filter Stainless fuel lines AEM Infinity EFI Custom exhaust Daily oil pump Custom sump I’ve got 75%of the parts now and still collecting. Chassis was picked up 2 weeks ago and I delivered it to my cage guy who’s putting a 10 pt Rhodes cage in. I will have the body mounts, tabbing, and fit and finish fab work done here locally. Body just came out of paint and is getting undercoated now. Color is Diamond Green with a bit of Lamborghini pearl and Tuki .008 micro flake added for a slight flash in the sunlight. That’s the reason I haven’t picked a wheel package out yet. I’m going to try to keep everything clean. I’m going to put the turbo, tb, intake, and header under tin in the rear seat area.

It`s an aftermarket tubular chassis with an original torsion housing on the rear. That explains why the front looks different.
