Title: Winner buggy for street Post by: Jukkis Maki on December 31, 2019, 17:47:46 pm In August after Bur Run Classic #9 I thought I've ready with my blue race split and I wanted something else. I drove unter 11.97 in Tierp and that fulfilled my target, which was to drive under 12 sec.[attachment=1]

Title: Winner buggy for street Post by: Jukkis Maki on December 31, 2019, 17:59:31 pm I've always been weak for beach buggies and expecially to Winner buggy - model. I couldn't find it from Finland, but Mathias Röschmann gave me a hint, that there on one for sale near Umeå, in northern Sweden. I bought it and Micke Oja picked that up for me. I must say, that Swedish VW guys are very nice people. :D
Here's pics from Micke's yard, when I picked up it. Trip was 1200 km + 15 hours in car ferry. I can't even work out if it's standard wheelbase or shortened!
Good work with the '51 too, it did get a bit chopped up but you've saved it. Have you got a thread on it? Title: Re: Winner buggy for street Post by: Jukkis Maki on January 01, 2020, 09:32:59 am Wheelbase is 214 cm
