The Cal-look Lounge

The Volksworld Show is having a Cal Look display this year March 21/22nd
They are having around 20 cars.
Made up of old and new cars not seen at the show before.
The big news of the show is Russell Ritchie from Gasser Garage has been kind enough to take Dave Rhodes and the Aronson/Holmes cars.

Excellent! Is there going to be a lineup outside too? I'd be up for that.

Hi Neil there is talk about doing something outside as well.
Should know more by the end of next week.

Nice one Martin. Mine is nowhere near good enough for inside, but when you see the rusty buses and broken suspension shitters outside, it's better than that!

According to the email I received yesterday, there will be a patina display.

Oh great, faded sign writing and old luggage on the roof rack. If your extra lucky, there may be some rope tied around the bumper  ::)

OK sorry Volksworld Show tickets deal...
This is for our UK Cal Look Register club line up, this is outside Brasserie doors leading down to the grandstand area.

The deal is for 1 Car with driver and 1 passenger for both days total sum of £15.00. This is a fixed price... So it’s the same for attending the two days or just one of them.

Now this is limited to 10 cars on each of the two days I’m afraid...

So to police this... Anyone interested in attending can you please PM myself and I will be happy to give you the link and code to input onto The Volksworld Show website.
Sorry this is advanced tickets only. So NO turning up on the day and expecting this deal at the gate. Yes I know it's all down to the weather leading up to the weekend. But you guys are going to have to take a gamble. Also To add to this... When receiving the link you will be able to buy additional day and weekend passes and also camping add ons as camping is not included with the club entry ticket.

Now here comes the DICTATOR part.... On receiving the code please DO NOT go pasting it on to everyone. As we have had to BEG to get this deal. If we end up with 50 tickets sold through the website and only 5 cars at show. This is going to RUIN IT not just for US in the future. But for any other type of club attending the show.

Lastly this is for a Cal Look line up. Now I know not everyone understand what a true Cal Look car is here in the UK. As the look has gone through many different styles over the years. We are going to be lenient with the cars turning up on the day. But please not the obvious ones like Roof Racks, Lowered Back Ends,  Custom Body and Paint Mods. It would be nice to get some great examples to inspire and educate the masses... :-)

Successful cal look turn out at this years Volksworld show. 13 quality cal lookers on show, Good effort from everyone involved.
