Title: Callook beam question Post by: GASBNR on July 15, 2020, 09:30:16 am Hi guys I’m building the callook car I’ve alway wanted.
Did you guys remove the bump stop on beams Did you run steering dampers? I will narrow the beam 2inches because I’m running CB spindles early to late brakes. Because of wheel choice. Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: Bryan67 on July 15, 2020, 20:39:18 pm Cut the stops off
Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: GASBNR on July 16, 2020, 04:37:50 am Thanks Bryan.
What about the steering damper bracket? Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: leec on July 16, 2020, 10:05:52 am I have always run a steering damper on narrowed beams. Bracket will need moving though iirc.
Looks like a really nice beam to start with Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: Bryan67 on July 27, 2020, 01:44:16 am Yes, Keep the bracket.

Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: leec on August 13, 2020, 09:51:40 am Where are you going to narrow it from?
If you are fitting adjusters you can take the width from there and move the frame head brackets out. If you are narrowing it from near the ends be careful where the inner bushes are Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: GASBNR on August 13, 2020, 09:55:44 am My last set of berg adjusters to go in this.
Title: Re: Callook beam question Post by: GASBNR on August 13, 2020, 11:35:42 am Doin the ends. 👍
