Title: 1970 convertible body panel Post by: MegaRookie on November 10, 2020, 22:06:19 pm Hi guys,
For my 1970 convertible I am looking for a new body panel which can be welded between the front windscreen and the bonnet. I saw that CSP sells them for before 57 (cowl top panel?) , but I didn't find it for 70 yet. Does anybody know who sells them? Or do I need to cut a piece from a donor car? Thanks! I know Karmann had the scuttle and outer screen frame made as one piece, but the dash is the same, so the scuttle should be too.

That will help finding a good donor piece much easier. Though, I might already found a donor piece of a convertible including the windshield part and dash. We'll see, and otherwise I continue the search for a sedan part. :D
