I have a Gene Berg quick shifter with 60% reduction in my 67 and I don't like the rather harsh shifting. Is it possible to convert it to 40%? It has the separate quick shifter plate which I could remove but how about the position of the upper ball? Any chance to change that? The best thing to do is sell it and buy a 40% shifter.
The 60% shifter should never be used in a street car with synchronizers. |
