hello is there someone who can advise me a trans shop in the us who can build me a berg 5 speed, the euro dollar rate is this good at the moment that i think it is time for a nice present for myself  ;)

or is there someone who has one for sale with the first 4 gears as a close ratio and the fith for getting home by highway...

Heard good things about KCR and they have berg5s advertised on their site.

Build a 4 speed thats good for the road,then just put a short tyre on it when you go down the track :)

Well it would be a little cheaper - also I am only going to running a 185ish tyre at most anyway  :)

While I would hate for some company to go and rip off the Berg design, sometimes I wish there was an alternative source for them. Though I doubt there is a big enough market for more than one source really.

then we have to wait a little longer till they are available again  :(  but in the mean time i will try a few adresses i have got now

Der Transaxle. Jim Kaforski built my 5 speed. Its still sitting in my cupboard under the stairs.

He is a top builder of gearbox's. Kevin at KCR I can also recommend. :)
