Title: basic distances, angles on type 1 cylinder heads
Post by: JIMP on October 30, 2024, 11:43:19 am
Hello all, as I have some type 1 heads I would like to repair from extreme damages, is there any chance taht someone has the exact -verified- basic dimensions of a type 1 head? like valve guide to cylinder surface angle, spark plug angle, distance of centers of valve guides between inlet and exhaust and maybe exact distances of those centers in reference eg with the cylinder stud holes etc, anything related like this info would help

eg I have measured -roughly- spark plug angle at 26o, valve guides at 9.5o?? and so on

Also if anyone know if the cb perfomance basic head, basic casting, has the exact same distances like the type 1 or something is slightly different like lets say valve guide centers distance?

any verified info would help a lot, thanks a lot for reading

Friendly

Dimitrios

I don't know all the specs, but I can confirm the valve guide angle is exactly 9.5°.
