Title: Berg linkage and aftermarket 30hp fan shrouds
Post by: Rune on November 26, 2007, 21:50:59 pm
Ok, I know they all have the mounting plate for the generator on crocked.. How do you guys go around this.  I notched the middle hole in my linkage to get it on right, but I had to notch it so much more than most I have seen pics of. I had the motor all lined up in the enginestand..Have I just got a shroud that is worse than everybody elses??

I got mine from CSP. If you look at this shroud it looks like a way better fit, anyone know what brand it might be?

This my Scat shroud, I had to mill the slots in the linkage.

My current shroud is an original 32 horse shroud. I have a 1973 type 181 shroud to go on the new motor.
