Title: float level on 51 FAJS IDA's Post by: JIMP on November 01, 2025, 18:09:02 pm Hello all, I have an engine which is set to run with the 51mm FAJS IDA's, I have in them already the Johannes's venturis and power jet, having anyway the power jets installed I decided to interchange the vertical hose with a clear one so as to check the level in the bowls directly, now, has anyone a prompt answer on what exactly this level has to be -on the correct pressure- in mm from eg the parting line of the carb cap and its body? I'm asking as I suggest all the data is given for making a "dry" setting of the float, with the cap removed, or to check the level from the bottom of the bowl, but this is still with no float imersed in the petrol, so still volume immersed missing, see different height, just let me know please if you have any experience on this kind of alternative (http://)setting, thanks for looking
