Title: A1 Lowdown header.
Post by: JS on December 08, 2007, 20:17:33 pm
I suspect some people in here have this header on their looker.
Could someone please share a pic where you can see where the flange ends up in relation to the rear valance?
Preferably on a pre -60 car with a later gearbox...
The reason iīm looking for a new header is that my old one ends up too low and too far back on the car.
Which in its turn makes it difficult to get the muffler snug up under the fender!  :-[

Hi JS,
this is a pic of my friend Sebastianīs black `63 (?) Looker with an 1 3/4" A1 lowdown header fitted. The car has a later floorpan with Rancho transmission. Unfortunately I donīt have a better pic.
Bye,

Tobi

Ok, as I suspected then  :-[
Any input on which type header that gives a nice tight fit under the body?
